Reporting a wrong result
If a check flags something that is actually fine — or misses something that is broken — that is the most useful message you can send. Please include the URL and what you expected.
| Situation | What to send |
|---|---|
| False positive | The URL, which check flagged it, and why you believe the config is correct. |
| False negative | The URL, which check passed it, and the broken code you expected us to catch. |
| Scan failed | The exact URL you entered and any error message shown. |
We aim to respond within a few days. Note that we can only reproduce what a public page serves — we cannot inspect anything behind your login, so some reports will need code snippets instead of a URL.
Requesting a new check
We prioritise checks where the failure mode is silent and costly. The most requested categories currently are:
- GTM container internals — listing every tag, trigger and variable with their status.
- Server-side tracking configuration depth.
- Email authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), which affect deliverability of tracked email.
- Structured data validation beyond syntax.
Corrections to the content
Each check page documents its own limits. If you find a case where the documented behaviour does not match what the tool does, that is a defect worth reporting — documentation that overstates capability is worse than no documentation.
Business enquiries
Advertising placements and partnership enquiries are handled through the same address, support@toolconv.com. We are selective about sponsorships: no tool result is ever affected by whether a brand advertises here.
What we cannot help with
- Reading or diagnosing your GA4 or GTM account — we do not ask for access and would decline it.
- Fixing your tracking. We can point you at the problem; the repair is yours or your contractor's.
- Legal advice about consent or privacy compliance.
- Recovering Universal Analytics history. It was deleted in July 2024 and cannot be restored.
Security reports
If you believe you have found a vulnerability in this tool, please describe the issue and how to reproduce it. Send it to support@toolconv.com with "Security" at the start of the subject. We will acknowledge reports and credit researchers who help us fix issues, unless they ask us not to.
Privacy note
If you write to us, we will keep your message and any address you include for as long as needed to resolve the matter — typically a few months. We do not add correspondents to any marketing list, and we do not sell or share your address. See the privacy policy for the full data handling description.
